Seri Wawasan Bridge Putrajaya

Seri Wawasan Bridge is one of the main bridges in Putrajaya, the Malaysian federal administrative capital. This futuristic cable-stayed bridge which has a sail ship appearance, connects Precinct 2 on the Core Island to the residential area of Precinct 8.

Join my HDR's experiences to explore a different destination of another landmark in Putrajaya, which is categorized as a 'signature bridge'.

The Seri Wawasan Bridge in this angle, it looks like a fish bone.

It has a single span which is 240 metres in length, supported by stayed cables which are suspended from leaning concrete pylons.

An unusual angle of the Seri Wawasan Bridge as captured directly from below.

The Seri Wawasan Bridge carries a six-lane avenue, three each way, as well as pedestrian walkway on each side.

Its dramatic appearance is said to be inspired by the Bugis schooner.
